From this page you can purchase and download vouchers that can be used for yourself, or be printed or emailed and given as a gift to others. We have two types: one for people who are serious about becoming a pilot and one for people who are serious about having fun. Once you have purchased the voucher, you can call 07 5341 8125 to make a booking on your preferred day (or click here). We are open 7 days per week. All flights are for one person only (one instructor and one customer). Each flight comes with a 2-4-1 entry voucher for the Qld Air Museum, across the road from us. it is well worth a visit and the knowledgeable volunteers have all flown in, or maintained, the various planes on display. They also have a 737 Simulator on site.
This scenic flight is suitable for people who would like to see the coastline, waterways, islands, marine life and mountains of the Sunshine Coast. You will watch our 10 minute trial flight video showing how to climb up on the wing of the plane, do up your seatbelt and fit your headset. Once airborne you can opt to take the controls and do gentle turns and climbs and descents. Suitable for 7 years and up. Max weight 110kgs. Once purchased, the flight is transferable but not refundable. You will be unable to take a trial flight if you have ever had temporary membership of Recreational Aviation Australia after doing a trial flight elsewhere.

This flight is suitable for people who think they would like to enrol as a student and continue to learn to fly for fun or pleasure. It consists of an official video briefing and a 60 minute Effects of Controls flying lesson, which can count towards a future Recreational Pilot Certificate, if you continue learning to fly. Suitable for 13 yrs and up. Max weight 110kgs. Once purchased, the flight is transferable but not refundable. You will be unable to take a trial flight if you have ever had temporary membership of Recreational Aviation Australia after doing a trial flight elsewhere.

We are open until 3.30pm on weekdays and 5.30pm on weekends, with trial flights being able to be taken at 9.30, 11.30, 1.30, 3.30pm and 5.30pm. Once purchased, the flight is transferable but not refundable.
If you love your first flight and wish to continue learning to fly, you can enrol as a student and receive two more 60 min flights at the discounted rate of $330/hr each PLUS receive access to all our flight training videos and online theory books. We call this the ‘Introductory Package’.

This video shows one of our modern Sling aircraft. During the 60 min flight you can take off over Bribie Island, travel south along the coast then fly across to Moreton Island and the Tangalooma Wrecks, and see the Glasshouse Mountains on your return. You will often see whales between June-Oct. After takeoff, you can take the control column and climb and descend and do gentle turns.
My two coastal flights south of Caloundra were breathtakingly beautiful. My instructor, Brendan, a holder of a CPL, allowed me as much or as little control as was safe. The video footage I received post-flight was of high quality and looked extremely impressive. I booked two flights with the flying school and the entire team was proficient, expert and friendly. My pilot was excellent from the briefing to the landing. We flew over Caloundra to Moreton Island and he gave me control for majority of the flight. The view over the island and the experience of flying a small aircraft was amazing. Would recommend this experience to everyone. Joey
The pilot was fantastic and provided information and guidance on flying a plane. Being able to control the plane for a substantial amount of the flight and taking in the amazing views was an absolute highlight! Thoroughly recommend! Steve
