What’s your current position at LEA?
What drew you into your specific field of work?
[GK] I have always loved technology and how we interact with it. I enjoy seeing all the improvements and advancements that we make with it, like the development of high-def television and the enhancements it made for the viewing experience.
What do you like about audio technology?
[GK] I admire the way good audio technology can transform a sound into an experience.
What are your personal hobbies?
[GK] I enjoy doing yardwork/landscaping, video games, playing sports (basketball, tennis, pickleball, softball) and going to Notre Dame Football games.
Do you have any personal “tech projects” that you Are Currently Working On or Would like to begin?
[GK] I like to work on old game systems and repair them.
What makes audio or audio tech so important in your opinion?
[GK] The way it changes the experience. Changing the audio from a TV and channeling it through a surround sound system creates an entirely new and better experience. Being able to watch a sporting event at home and hear the crowd behind you almost creates a virtual reality type of experience, just by manipulating the audio.
