A Conversation with Bella Lawton, Digital marketing manager
What’s your current position at LEA?
What drew you into your specific field of work?
[BL] I started my education as an artist, and spent a lot of time considering the practical applications of my art skills. I knew I wanted to find a way to utilize my passion for photography and media in a professional setting. I spent a summer interning at a small marketing firm in Bloomington, Indiana. I found that I had a knack for creating content and managing their brand, and the rest is history!
Tell us about your background.
[BL] I spent my college years at Indiana University Bloomington, studying Art and Media. During my time in Bloomington, I interned at Blueline Media as their Content Specialist and Marketing Intern. During my time there I was shadowing their Lead Project Manager and would help execute projects such as web design, social media management, and content creation.
Why is your job important to LEA?
[BL] Being a part of LEA’s Marketing Department will allow me to help grow our audience and brand awareness using a creative, edgy, yet professional approach. I will use LEA’s social platforms to express the voice and identity of our brand in a fun, approachable, and informative way.
What is the most exciting thing about joining LEA?
[BL] I’m really excited to be a part of a rapidly-growing company and to promote the cutting-edge technology created here at LEA, something I am truly impressed by.
