A Conversation with Darrell:

What’s your current position at LEA?

[DC] Director of Global Business Development – working to expand LEA’s reach!

What drew you into your specific field of work?

[DC] I began my career as a Sales Representative at TOA Electronics and later advanced to Regional Manager at Bose Professional. Then I joined a startup media company in 2000 called PlayNetwork and kick-started their Integration Division, where I managed operations through 2020. After that, I oversaw Global Operations for a media and integration company called Stingray Business. Now, I’m very excited to be representing LEA’s industry-leading IoT-enabled professional amplifiers and cloud-based control and monitoring solution, amongst other new, cutting-edge technologies.

What do you like about audio technology?

[DC] I grew up in a musical family and developed a deep passion for the science of sound. It’s incredibly gratifying to deliver high-quality sound systems for commercial and professional venues.

What are your personal hobbies?

[DC] The outdoors – biking, hiking, paddle boarding, and riding motorcycles. I also enjoy playing guitar, and I’m an avid cook (with a particular passion for the grill).
